Only once have I built the same thing more than once, and they were wedding gifts, so cut me some slack.  Ok, truth be told I will be making more of those candle stick holders and clocks for wedding gifts in the future. Still, everything I have built for a client has been a design they help generate and doesn't cost as much as your car!

What does that mean?  Stuff I build is going to be far more expensive than going to IKEA or Target and will last generations.  Then again, buying cardboard furniture that falls apart after 3 years should be cheap.  Decks that I build are stronger than need be because I can't stand the site of a 15 year old droopy deck.

There are also some items, such as the desk pictured below that the plans just whirled around in my head, never making it to paper throughout the build.  This desk was built without the use of metal fastners (screws, bolts etc).  All joints are glued, pegged, or use old fashioned joinery so that it can easily be taken apart and moved as many times as an owner (myself in this case) sees fit. (Take that IKEA!)

Anyone who hires me can rest assured that they will be involved from beginning to end, in the design as well as the build phase of the project.  I can draw something according to a picture in a magazine or just a picture that is floating around in your mind.  Please don't hesitate to ask me about any project.
